Turkish media reported that two more famous persons were arrested by Turkish law enforcement agencies within the framework of a large-scale operation against drugs.
Famous figures of social networks, bloggers Taha Ozer and Simge Barankoglu were arrested during the investigation conducted by the Istanbul General Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation revealed that Barankoglu was also wanted on charges of fraud.
Earlier, in December 2021, she was arrested as part of an operation against a criminal group allegedly involved in a social media fraud scheme, after which the court issued a decision to arrest the young girl.
