Musk called for a passport requirement during elections in the United States

Elon Musk announced that the USA should require a passport from its citizens to participate in the elections.

"America should require a passport during elections. This is obvious," Musk wrote on the X social network. With these words, he responded to the user's post, which includes a list of more than 100 countries that have implemented a voter identification system, and the USA is not included in that list.

After the November 2020 presidential election, in which Democrat Joe Biden won, Donald Trump and other Republicans claimed systemic voting irregularities. They repeatedly appealed to the courts with the demand to re-count the votes in some states.

However, the actions of the Republicans did not succeed, and their claims were rejected.
