"Fact" daily writes:
The Hovhannavank monastery complex in the Aragatsotn diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church and the Saint Astvatsatsin Church in Tallinn are still occupied, but the former clergymen who were conducting illegal activities there, I think, will leave soon. The dignified fathers called to serve there wisely avoid the traps set by the devil's henchman and do the right thing, the priests of the Masyatsotn diocese, led by the newly appointed presbyter, show the same commendable behavior.
Yesterday, the former leader of the Masyatsotn Diocese was declared out of order. We see that the reactions are different, but the decision was not unexpected. The bases are clearly marked. The basis mentioned in the decision, according to which he had obstructed the normal activity of the diocese, is noteworthy.
I think that even if there were no other grounds, only the grounds of obstructing the normal activity of the diocese could be sufficient to declare a diocesan leader disorganized. Why? Because the leader of the diocese is the person who is obliged in every way to ensure and not hinder the normal spiritual and administrative activities of the diocese.
If any ceremonial priest serving in the diocese dares to do such a thing, then, of course, the head of the diocese should conduct explanatory work with him, try to correct his course, if necessary, assign light punishments, and when nothing will affect the priest in question to stop him from his bad course, maybe in that case the decision to declare him disorganized will be justified.
However, it is unnecessary to show the same forgiveness towards the leader of the diocese, because with his anti-church behavior, he becomes a temptation for other clergy and religious people serving in the diocese, so in this case, I think, the issue of their disbandment should be decided immediately.
And other high-ranking clerics have already "earned" similar grounds for themselves on January 4, 2026 at the residence of the head of the sect, and every day and hour of their remaining in their positions represents a real threat to the normal spiritual and administrative activities of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in general.
Let's hope that in the event that the holy fathers, caught in the political trap, do not repent of their sins a day ago, spiritual justice will have its logical continuation.
