Tehran is open to negotiations with the American administration, if the US is really ready for a real dialogue to reach an agreement, said Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker of Iran's Mejlis (unicameral parliament).
"If these are real negotiations to reach an agreement within the framework of international norms, then yes. However, these are not the kind of negotiations that US President Donald Trump wants. he just wants to impose his will on others.
I think that if Trump is really honest and wants to win the Nobel Peace Prize, then he should strive for real peace and first get rid of the warmongers and those who want Iran to submit," he said in an interview with CNN.
He noted that Trump "can start a war" with Iran, but he cannot control its outcome.
