This opinion was expressed by Andrey Sidorov, head of the Department of International Organizations and Global Political Processes at the Faculty of World Politics of Moscow State University, during a round table dedicated to American politics.

He explained that the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence is being celebrated in the United States on July 4 this year. According to the expert, Trump has already started actively implementing his political agenda and is acting quite consistently. Sidorov noted that the anniversary of the country's independence can become a symbolic point for the American leader, with which he will try to connect his own achievements, presenting them as the return of the United States to its role as a center of global influence.
