US President Donald Trump believes that the authorities of Iran should show a humanitarian approach to the unrest in the country. He told reporters about this on January 13 at the Andrews Air Force base near Washington.
"The message is that they should be humane. They are in big trouble. And I hope they don't kill people," Trump said when asked what message he would send to Tehran. Commenting on Iran's statements about its readiness to respond to possible US strikes, Trump said:
"Iran said that last time when I blew up their nuclear capability, which they no longer have."
