Prime Minister of Greenland Jens-Frederik Nielsen stated that the island does not want to be part of the United States.

He announced this at a press conference with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

The head of the government of Greenland once again noted that Greenlanders do not want to be part of the United States, but choose Denmark and NATO.

"Our goal and desire is a peaceful dialogue focused on cooperation, international law and the law of our own territory," Nielsen said.

"We have said this from the first day. we want cooperation, we want an alliance. This is what our position is based on," added the Prime Minister.
