The Yemeni authorities have declared a state of emergency for 90 days and a 72-hour blockade throughout the country.
In addition, the authorities of the country demanded the forces of the United Arab Emirates to leave the territory of Yemen within 24 hours, Al Arabiya reports.
According to the publication, Rashad al-Alimi, chairman of Yemen's Presidential Governing Council, announced a 72-hour air, land and sea blockade of all entry points to Yemen, as well as a state of emergency for 90 days, which could be extended.
The government also demanded the withdrawal of all UAE forces from the country within 24 hours, stating that Yemen cannot resist the opening of new fronts.
"We are strong thanks to the support of the coalition led by Saudi Arabia," he added.
