"As a result of the search and rescue operations conducted near the Haymana region, the remains of the plane carrying the chief of the Libyan General Staff, which disappeared from the radars, were found," RIA Novosti quoted AirportHaber as saying.

According to NTV, the plane crashed, supposedly, due to a technical malfunction.
