Witkoff. The US considers the negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation in Florida constructive

According to the special envoy of the US President, Steven Witkoff, the US believes that the negotiations of the Ukrainian delegation in Florida with Washington and European representatives were effective and constructive.

"During the last three days, the Ukrainian delegation held a series of effective and constructive negotiations with American and European partners," he wrote in X. Witkoff noted that the son-in-law of the American leader, Jared Kushner, participated in the negotiations with him from the American side.

The Ukrainian delegation was represented by Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, and Andrey Gnatov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. National security assistants of European countries also participated in the talks to "coordinate the positions of Ukraine, the United States and Europe on a strategic approach."

The first round of negotiations between the US and Ukrainian delegations took place in Berlin on December 14 and lasted about five hours. The parties continued negotiations on December 15, during which the meeting lasted about two hours.
