The USA proposed to Zelensky to conduct tripartite negotiations with Russia

US officials have proposed holding joint talks with representatives of Ukraine and Russia in Florida as the Trump administration seeks a peace deal. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Bloomberg reports.

The leader of Ukraine announced this idea during a joint press conference with Portuguese Prime Minister Luis Montenegro.

"The US has announced that it will hold a separate meeting with Russian representatives, and as far as I understand, they have proposed a format of 'Ukraine-US-Russia', and since there will be European representatives there, they will probably include European representatives as well," Zelensky noted.

He added that it would be logical to first hold a joint meeting to evaluate the results of the US-Ukraine negotiations. Decisions will be made depending on the result, whether positive or negative, the president concluded.
