China filed a complaint with the United States

China has sent a serious message to the United States regarding plans for large-scale arms sales to Taiwan, Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Jiang Bin said, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

The Pentagon's Defense Security Cooperation Agency previously said the total value of US arms, equipment and military services approved for sale to Taiwan exceeds $11 billion. In particular, these include Javelin systems, ALTIUS-700M and ALTIUS-600 unmanned aerial vehicles, spare parts for AH-1W SuperCobra helicopters, HIMARS multiple rocket systems, M107A7 self-propelled artillery systems and TOW anti-tank missile systems.

"The US side has announced large-scale plans to sell arms to Taiwan, which is a serious violation of the 'one China principle'... it seriously harms China's sovereignty and security and undermines the strategic trust between China and the United States." China expresses strong displeasure, strongly opposes it and has already sent a serious message to the United States," the official WeChat account of the Ministry of Defense of the People's Republic of China quoted him as saying.
