A family living in Washington complained about Amazon's delivery errors. Over the past six months, more than 100 packages destined for a nearby hotel have been delivered to their home, UPI reported.
According to the resident, who identified himself only as British, the packages were intended for guests at the Arlo Hotel, located about a kilometer from his home. He suspects that when placing orders, hotel guests mistakenly chose his address, which supposedly appears before the hotel's address in Amazon's list of options.
"They sent us everything from cat food and vitamins to a saw," said Brittani.
There was a case when a hotel guest came to pick up the package, but the family refused to interact or open the door. The woman explained that the address differs from the hotel address by only one letter. This, in his opinion, is the reason for repeated delivery errors.
The situation is aggravated by the late visits of strangers. people often pick up packages after 8:00 PM, which creates inconvenience, especially considering that the family has a small child.
Amazon said it is aware of the issue, is investigating it, and is working to resolve it.
