President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the situation in the country remains difficult after the attacks carried out by Russia. According to him, the recent attacks have caused significant damage to civil infrastructure, as a result of which vital services have been disrupted in a number of regions.
Zelensky noted that since yesterday, the state and emergency services are engaged in the restoration of electricity, heat supply and water supply in various marzes. However, according to him, the restoration process takes time, taking into account the amount of damages.
According to the president of Ukraine, hundreds of thousands of families are currently without electricity in Mykolaiv, Odessa, Kherson, Chernigov, Donetsk, Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Those regions have been subjected to intense attacks in recent days.
He also reported that only in the last week, Russia used more than 1,500 attack drones, about 900 guided aerial bombs and 46 different types of missiles on the territory of Ukraine.
