Italy has expressed readiness to send troops to the international stabilization forces operating in the Gaza Strip, reports Ynet, referring to a high-ranking source in Israel.
"Italy has expressed its readiness to send soldiers," the publication says.
CNN previously reported that the US wants international forces to be deployed in Gaza as early as 2026.
Earlier, the UN Security Council approved the resolution proposed by the US, which supported US President Donald Trump's comprehensive plan to settle the situation in Gaza.
