Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered the killing of Raed Saad, a key commander of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas, in response to the wounding of two soldiers in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced.
"In response to the detonation of an improvised explosive device by Hamas that injured Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz ordered the termination of the activities of terrorist Raed Saad, who heads the production headquarters of Hamas," the statement said.
