In November, US special forces boarded a ship bound for Iran from China and seized its cargo, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on December 12, citing sources.
According to their information, American special forces boarded the ship while it was near the coast of Sri Lanka. The publication claims that there were dual purpose goods on the ship.
According to US intelligence, the cargo was supposedly intended for Iranian companies specializing in buying components for Tehran's missile program.
After the seizure of the goods, the ship continued on its way, The Wall Street Journal added.
