A meeting of representatives of six countries, including Russia, China and Pakistan, will be held in Iran next week, where the parties will discuss the situation in Afghanistan, the spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghaei, announced.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran gives priority to security and stability in neighboring countries and in this regard will make every effort to reduce tensions between the countries of the region and strengthen mutual understanding between them," his words were quoted on the department's Telegram channel.
According to Baghai, this meeting will take place in Tehran next week with the participation of the special representatives of Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, China and Russia on Afghanistan.
