In Yekaterinburg, law enforcement agencies arrested Vidadi Mustafaev, who declared himself the new leader of the Azerbaijani diaspora in the Urals. Special forces took part in the arrest, Mustafaev is suspected of fraud. Informed sources informed URA.RU about this.

"According to preliminary information, the charges against Mustafaev arose after his former lawyer filed a complaint against him. He allegedly told the law enforcement agencies that Vidadi may be involved in land fraud," said a source familiar with the situation.

"Special forces arrested Vidadi two hours ago when he arrived at the gym to train," another source said.

Vidadi Mustafaev became famous after publicly criticizing the former leader of the Diaspora, Shahin Shikhlinski, whom he accused of bad integration of his compatriots. After the arrest of Shikhlinsky, Mustafaev presented himself as a new representative of the interests of the Azerbaijanis of the Urals.
