Iran will not remove enriched uranium from the ruins of destroyed nuclear facilities until it reaches an agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in an interview with the British magazine The Economist.
"All the enriched material is in the rubble. It has not been removed yet, and we have no intention to restore it until we reach an appropriate agreement with the agency," said the minister.
He also categorically rejected the theory that employees of Iran's nuclear facility removed the enriched uranium before the US strikes. "No.
It didn't happen," Araghchi said.
