The Washington administration is increasing the pressure on Volodymyr Zelensky, forcing him to accept the new American plan for the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. This claim was made in an article published in The Washington Post (WP) on November 19.
According to one of the sources, the plan "includes several concessions that will be difficult for Zelensky to secure, including the loss of significant territory and severe restrictions on Ukraine's armed forces."
"Meanwhile, Zelenskyi is weakened by a serious corruption scandal involving several of his close associates, combined with Russian strikes, may leave the Ukrainian leader with few good options as US officials increase pressure on him to approve accords to end the war," the article explains.
