Cooperation within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization can be the basis for the formation of an equal and indivisible security architecture in Eurasia, according to the joint statement adopted as a result of the twenty-fourth session of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
"The heads of delegations believe that cooperation within the framework of the SCO can be the basis for the formation of an equal and indivisible security architecture in Eurasia," the document states.
The session of the council chaired by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin took place on Tuesday at the "Russia" National Center. It marked the final event of Russia's 2024-2025 presidency in the SCO Council of Heads of State and Government.
