According to their data, Maduro has announced his willingness to give American energy companies access to Venezuela's oil reserves. The newspaper claims that the White House intends to force the president of Venezuela to resign immediately.
According to the NYT, Trump has also approved additional pressure measures against Venezuela, and the CIA plans to conduct "covert operations" there in preparation for a broader military campaign.
