The US Secretary of the Army will meet with Zelensky in Kiev

The United States has sent a delegation headed by Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll to Kiev, which is scheduled to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky, Politico reports, citing its sources.

"Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and Army Chief of Staff General Randy George became the highest-ranking Pentagon officials to make a surprise visit to Ukraine this week.

This is due to the fact that the US is trying to find a way to speed up the end of the war. "Starting Wednesday, they plan to meet with Ukrainian military officials, lawmakers and President Volodymyr Zelensky," the publication said.

It is noted that Pentagon Secretary Pete Hegsett has not visited Kyiv since taking office in January.
