Great Britain will build 13 weapons and explosives factories

In order to improve the capabilities of the armed forces, the United Kingdom will build 13 high-tech weapons and explosives production facilities as part of military reforms, the Financial Times (FT) reported, referring to Defense Minister John Healy.

This week, he said, two drone manufacturing plants will open in the British Isles. The minister will announce the government's military spending priorities in parliament amid concerns among MPs about the state of the kingdom's defences.

According to the publication, Healy will respond to critics who claim that the Ministry of Defense is too slow to implement defense reforms. He will present a new plan to build 13 defense "factories of the future" in Great Britain.

According to the report, the Department of Defense has already funded "for the first time in nearly two decades" several feasibility studies to build new high-explosives and fuel plants.
