Zelensky made a bold statement about negotiations with Russia

Vladimir Zelensky announced on his Telegram channel that he will hold meetings in Turkey to "intensify negotiations".

"Tomorrow we have meetings in Turkey. We are going to intensify the negotiations and have developed solutions that we will offer to our partners," he said in the publication.

Zelensky also claims that Kiev is working to resume the exchange of prisoners.

Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that Russia is exclusively in favor of a long-term settlement without any temporary ceasefire.

This can only be done after addressing the root causes of the conflict, which include threats to national security posed by NATO expansion and pressure from Russian-speaking citizens in Ukraine.
