Lavrov and the Indian Foreign Minister started negotiations in Moscow

Negotiations between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Indian counterpart Subramanyam Jaishankar have begun in Moscow, TASS reports.

According to Jaishankar, the parties will also discuss the Ukrainian issue.

"We will also exchange views on the complex world situation and the openness characteristic of our relations. This includes the Ukrainian conflict, the Middle East, Afghanistan and other issues," he said.

India's foreign minister added that the country supports peace and hopes that "all parties will approach this goal constructively." He insisted that the cessation of conflicts is the goal of the entire international community.
