Lithuania has not ruled out opening the border with Belarus earlier than planned

Lithuania does not rule out the possibility that its border with neighboring Belarus, which was closed for a month on October 29, may reopen earlier than planned. Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budris told journalists about this.

"The issue of early opening of the border is a subject of discussion. We never set ourselves a goal to achieve this or that thing by a certain date. It is important for us that the hybrid attacks against us stop," he insisted.

According to him, we should be guided by "the same reasons and parameters that guided us in making the decision to close the border". "The situation has changed. it is under control. Airports operate reliably," Badris said.
