France and Ukraine may reach an agreement on the supply of SAMP/T air defense systems to the armed forces of Ukraine. Reuters:

Paris and Kiev may sign agreements on the supply of air defense systems, missiles and fighter jets during Vladimir Zelensky's visit to France on Monday, Reuters reported, citing its sources.

In particular, France may transfer additional SAMP/T air defense systems and Rafale fighter jets to Ukraine.

It is not yet clear how these deals will be financed, the sources said.

Earlier, the leader of the "Patriots of France" party, Florian Filippo, called the possible decision of French President Emmanuel Macron to transfer Rafale fighter jets to Kiev against the background of the corruption scandal surrounding Zelensky unacceptable.

The Russian side has repeatedly stated that supplying weapons to the Kiev regime only leads to prolongation of the conflict.
