Trump stated that oil imports from Russia are decreasing due to US pressure

US President Donald Trump has announced that due to pressure from Washington, other countries are reducing purchases of Russian oil.

"We are putting a lot of pressure on them," Trump said in an interview with British TV channel GB News, published on Friday, referring to the Russian side. "You know about India and oil," he added, referring to the imposition of additional customs duties by the US on India due to the purchase of oil and oil products from Russia.

"India is now refusing, and others are also refusing," Trump emphasized, referring to the reduction in Russian oil purchases by other countries. He did not specify the basis of these estimates.

According to the US president, "when Russia sells oil, it has money for all kinds of things." Trump also expressed confidence that the conflict in Ukraine will be resolved. "I think we will do it," he said.

On November 6, Trump announced that India had "largely" stopped buying Russian oil. At that time, he mentioned that Russian oil exports decreased due to the application of US sanctions.
