Trump's former adviser demands 50 million dollars from the government. Bloomberg:

During the first term of US President Donald Trump, his adviser Michael Flynn is demanding $50 million in compensation from the government for the prosecution of Russia's alleged interference in the 2016 US presidential election, Bloomberg reports.

"The Trump administration has been negotiating a lawsuit filed by Michael Flynn, Trump's former first national security adviser, since at least the end of summer.  He demands 50 million dollars for illegal prosecution," the agency reported.

It is emphasized that Flynn was initially found guilty of making false statements about his conversations with a Russian official, but later contested the charge. Trump pardoned Flynn in late 2020.
