Axios. The White House plans to release more information on military operations to Congress

The Trump administration plans to expand its reporting to Congress on military operations at varying levels of secrecy and resume legalizing US arms sales to other countries, Axios reports, citing sources.

It was mentioned earlier that the members of the US Congress from both parties have started to express considerable dissatisfaction with the fact that they have virtually no information about the American strikes on suspected drug-trafficking ships in the Caribbean and the situation around Venezuela.

According to congressmen, this practice of avoiding information deviates from the established norm.

Under pressure from Congress, the White House plans to hold more secret briefings on the operation.
