Vahan Bichakhchyan, the midfielder of the Armenian national team and "Legia" Warsaw, will miss the upcoming matches against Hungary and Portugal in the qualifying round of the European zone of the 2026 World Cup.
Despite the injury, Bichakhchyan joined the national team and continues the recovery process as part of the national team.
Yeghishe Melikyan invited "Pyunik" midfielder Gevorg Tarakhchyan to the team earlier in order to fill the gap of Bichakhchyan.
Earlier it became known that Ugochukwu Ivu, the midfielder of Rubin Kazan, did not join the national team due to a muscle injury.
