The downing of the Turkish military plane that crashed in Georgia may indicate foreign intervention or the explosion of ammunition on the plane, the pro-government Türkiye newspaper wrote on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Defense of Turkey announced on Tuesday that the Lockheed C-130 Hercules military transport plane crashed near the border of Georgia and Azerbaijan.
Ankara is coordinating search and rescue operations with Tbilisi.
The investigation into the downing of the Turkish military plane in Georgia will be conducted with utmost caution, the administration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Tuesday.
