The Romanian Ministry of Defense reported on Tuesday about the possible presence of the debris of an unmanned aerial vehicle five kilometers south of the border.

"At 00:07 (01:07 Moscow time) a danger alert was announced for the population of the northern part of Tulcea region through a radio broadcast.

Multiple explosions were reported on the Ukrainian side of the Danube near the port of Izmail. At 1:09 a.m., the Ministry of Defense received information about a plane crash near Grindu, approximately 5 kilometers south of the border.

"Soldiers arrived at the scene and reported the possible presence of fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle," said the statement published on the website of the Ministry of Defense.
