Ukraine expects to order 27 Patriot air defense missile systems from American manufacturers. Vladimir Zelensky announced this in an interview with the British newspaper The Guardian on November 9.
Zelensky also wants European countries to provide Ukraine with their existing air defense systems. When asked whether the EU and Great Britain are making sufficient efforts to support Ukraine, he answered:
"It's never enough."
However, the newspaper notes, Zelensky noted that the issue of the European presence in Ukraine should be approached carefully in order not to lose "the financial and military support of partners".
