More than ten flares occurred on the Sun in one day

In the last 24 hours, more than 10 flares were recorded on the Sun, reports the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"Activity of outbreaks. In the last 24 hours, there have been more than 10 flares, including high-magnitude ones. The impact on Earth is estimated to be moderate, peaking on November 11," the laboratory's Telegram channel said in a statement.

The geomagnetic situation remained calm, the scientists explained.

Scientists predict that geomagnetic disturbances and low-level storms are possible in the next 24 hours. Furthermore, the likelihood of further strong outbreaks with "high risks to the country" remains high.
