Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevo arrived a day late in Colombia to attend the EU-CELAC summit after he had to transfer from his plane to another plane due to technical problems, Belga news agency reported.
According to him, Prevost arrived in Santa Marta, Colombia, where the summit is taking place. The minister arrived 24 hours late, missing most of the speeches and the group photo taken earlier.
However, Prevot was able to deliver his intended speech at the plenary session. However, several meetings, including those with Brazil and Peru, which the Belgian minister was due to attend, were postponed for the evening.
