Turkey is working to ensure the safe passage of about 200 Gaza civilians trapped in the tunnels, Reuters reports, citing its source.
"We are working to ensure the safe passage of about 200 Gaza civilians currently remaining in the tunnels," a senior Turkish official told Reuters. He also said that Turkey contributed to the return of the dead hostage senior lieutenant Hadar Goldin's body to Israel.
On November 9, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the country was providing aid to the Palestinian enclave and that "food, medicine, medical equipment, clothing, hygiene items and goods have been sent so far."
