The number of Lebanese citizens killed in less than a year as a result of Israeli airstrikes has reached 309, Health Minister Rakyan Nasser al-Din said.
"Since the cease-fire agreement of November 27, 2024, which was sponsored by the United States and France, Israel has violated the cease-fire 5163 times," the minister said.
"Since the end of November last year, 309 people have been killed and another 598 injured as a result of Israeli attacks," the minister said.
On November 6, Israel launched a series of massive airstrikes on five cities in the south of the country, forcing residents to flee their homes.
