Nigeria plans to raise 2.5-3 billion dollars for the fight against climate change, RIA Novosti reports, referring to the press service of the president of the West African country.
During the UN Climate Change Conference, Senator Kashim Shettima, according to some reports, held a series of meetings on Nigeria's participation in the carbon markets through its own projects.
"This will enable Nigeria to attract $2.5 to $3 billion in carbon finance annually over the next ten years," the publication said.
