A helicopter crashed in the USA


A medical helicopter carrying three crew members crashed in the US state of Tennessee. Vanderbilt LifeFlight Air Ambulance Service at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VMU) reported the crash on Facebook.

"A Vanderbilt LifeFlight helicopter crashed this afternoon in Wilson County, Tennessee," the statement read.

According to the service, as a result of the incident near the city of Lebanon, one crew member was killed and two others were injured. The injured are currently in critical condition and are being treated at Vanderbilt University Hospital.

Vanderbilt LifeFlight clarified that there were no patients on the plane at the time of the incident.
