"The supply of more than 5 billion dollars of American weapons to support NATO allies and Ukraine has been delayed due to the shutdown," the publication reports.

This suspension affected the transfer of AMRAAM missiles, Aegis combat systems and HIMARS multiple rocket systems to Poland, Denmark and Croatia.
