Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban believes that a new Russian-American summit will be held in Budapest, but it is still impossible to say whether it will lead to a quick settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
"The Budapest peace summit will take place. It remains to be seen whether it will be a peace summit where a solution will be found, or just an important step towards peace," said the Prime Minister while speaking on the "Radio Kossuth" program broadcast from Washington.
US President Donald Trump will receive Orban at the White House on Friday.
The head of the government said on Thursday that in his opinion, Russia and the United States still have one or two issues to resolve before reaching an agreement on a meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
