Orbán expects a Russian-American summit in Budapest

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán assumes that Budapest can accept a peaceful meeting between Russia and the USA, and is ready to have a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin if necessary.

Orban answered the questions of Hungarian journalists on his plane, which was going to Washington. In particular, he was asked when was the last time he had a telephone conversation with Putin. The Prime Minister replied that it happened on October 17, after the announcement that a meeting could be organized in Budapest. "After that, the need did not arise, but if necessary, I will certainly have a telephone conversation," the MTI agency quotes.
