Britain's new Ajax armored fighting vehicles, eight years late in delivery to the army, have been found to be vulnerable to Russian drones. This was reported by Sky News journalist Deborah Haynes.
He said the Ajax vehicle, which costs around £10 million (about $13 million) and weighs more than 40 tonnes, "could be vulnerable to cheap Russian drones".
Back in 2014, Great Britain signed a contract with General Dynamics UK for the production of 589 Ajax armored vehicles. Deliveries were supposed to start in 2017, but they started only in 2025.
