The head of Turkey's National Intelligence Service (MİT) İbrahim Kalın met with the delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya, the head of the negotiation group of the political bureau of the Palestinian group "Hamas" in Istanbul.
The delegation of "Hamas" thanked Turkey and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for their mediation and guarantee for establishing a ceasefire within the framework of the "Gaza Ceasefire Agreement" and following the process.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the ceasefire process and the necessary steps to be taken to overcome the existing problems. Consultations were also held on ways to implement the next stages of the ceasefire plan. In addition, questions regarding the humanitarian aid provided to Gaza were also discussed.
