A third person suspected of preparing a terrorist attack in Michigan has been arrested in the United States

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has arrested the third person suspected of planning a terrorist attack on Halloween in the US state of Michigan, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced on the X social network.

"Today, the Detroit FBI office and partners arrested a third suspect in connection with last week's suspected terrorist attack in Michigan. Our investigation shows that this person provided material support in the preparation of the attack," Bongino wrote.

Last week, FBI Director Kesh Patel announced the arrest of several individuals in the US state of Michigan who were allegedly planning a terrorist attack on Halloween.

Attorney General Pamela Bondi later announced that the attack was planned by supporters of the Islamic State terrorist organization.
