US President Donald Trump stated in an interview with the CBS TV channel that nuclear tests are necessary to ensure the functionality of the devices, given that Russia and China are allegedly conducting tests.
"We have to see how it works. I'm talking about the test because Russia has announced its intention to test it, and North Korea is constantly testing it. We are the only country that does not test. I don't want to be the only country that doesn't test," Trump said.
He noted that Russia and China are allegedly conducting tests, but they are not being talked about.
