Argentine President Javier Millay accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Guillermo Franco, the press service of the president reports.
"The President has accepted the resignation of Guillermo Franco from the position of the head of the cabinet," the statement said.
Millay thanked Francos for his work, noting that he played a fundamental role in the implementation of reforms.
"In his place, Manuel Adorni (the official spokesman of the president) will become the new head of the cabinet on Monday.
This change corresponds to the need to restart the political dialogue," the statement said.
Millay previously promised that he would reshuffle the government after the interim parliamentary elections held on October 26.
